10 months ago i moved to wilmington, nc
since then i have...
learned the value of money and hard work
fell in love
had my heart broken
learned to be independent
made new friends and lost some
strengthened my testimony
survived my first NC summer
learned a LOT
and healed
whew. what a crazy ride so far!
but the best. ride. ever.
i'm so grateful everyday that this is my life.
i still pinch myself.
i am crazy in love with wilmington. head over heels, if you will.
this is my city.
10 months have flown on by. and if it's up to me, i have forever to go.
i remember the day my mom left me alone to fly back to Idaho after moving me in. one panic attack and 2 bubble baths later(they were the only thing that would calm me), i let all my insecurities go and let myself enjoy my new adventure. i let myself have one day to break down and be scared (and man, was i ever scared...) and at the end of that tunnel i found the happiest life. a life i am proud to call mine.
and tomorrow i get to introduce my new life to my mom and my sisters.
i am dying with the purest of excitement.
i've been waiting for this day since january. and it's finally here!
the morrison women are coming to wilmington!
