10 things i know for sure

1. today, december 21st, is definitely not the end of the world. but i can't wait to one day tell my kids how many times i did indeed survive the "end of the world" 

2.  sometimes removing some people out of your life makes room for better people.

3. it's funny to think that someone who was a stranger this time last year can mean so much to you now and someone who meant so much to you last year can be a stranger now. it's a bit scary what a year can do.

4. cafe rio sweet pork burritos are still one of the most amazing foods to ever exist.

5. my little sister, Brielle, is one of the most amazing 16 year olds i have ever met. she's such a good kid. i am incredibly proud to call her my sister. 

6. idaho drivers are still mean and selfish. can't wait to get back to southern hospitality.

7. people come into your life for a reason. sometimes that reason is to hurt you or to use you. but the lessons you undoubtedly needed to learn could only be taught to you by them. and really, i think that's kind of neat. 

8. sometimes you need to go back to where you came from to remember what you have now.

9. a friend who understands your tears is a lot more valuable than a lot of friends who only know your smile. am i right... or am i right?!
10. i know for sure that i cut a whopping 9 inches off my hair yesterday... how 'bout that?
